We need to bring to your attention that a small number of light fittings, sold under the Newlec Brand with the specific part number NL9968, may have had an incorrect wiring label applied.
Newey & Eyre takes this matter very seriously and wish to minimise the risk of any injury occurring. We therefore need to enlist your help in tracing these products, which you may have in stock or may have installed.
In short, you will need to take the following steps:
The Warning Notice for installing Contractors and Users should be read in conjunction with this letter.
- Using the instructions in the attached Warning Notice, identify from the carton label and immediately stop using any suspect product you may still have in stock.
- For any product that you may have installed and again using the instructions in the attached Warning Notice, isolate from the supply and identify from the product rating label any product with the suspect date codes.
- All suspect products need to be returned to Newey & Eyre.
- Fully checked exchange product will be available from your purchasing Newey & Eyre branch.
