Recycling Services
Trade Counter Recycling

Your local Newey & Eyre branch will be able to help you
Newey & Eyre offers its customers a free–of–charge* recycling service for WEEE products and lamps at selected branches.
- Simply return your waste WEEE products and lamps to your local Newey & Eyre branch and we‘ll organise the recycling. We‘ll also issue you with all the statutory paper work.
- *A small charge may be made to cover the production of statutory paperwork, but no payment is required to recycle products covered by the WEEE Regulations.
- The service applies to Newlec and other producers’ waste WEEE products.
- To prevent Newey & Eyre staff from being exposed to hazards, please do not return any products that are inherently hazardous such as damaged products with exposed parts or sharp edges.
Lamps & Tubes Direct Recycling Service
Newey & Eyre offers customers a free–of–charge uplift service for the recycling of lamps and tubes from their own site, subject to contract.
- **For qualifying customers, the service is usually subject to a three year signed agreement. For customers not wishing to commit, alternative options are available for ad hoc lamp recycling.
- Once an agreement with your local branch has been set–up, you simply choose which lamp/tube containers you wish to rent or purchase. The range of container options includes bins, boxes, skips, pallets, etc.
- Newey & Eyre will arrange for these containers to be installed on your site.
- When they are 90% full, you contact Newey & Eyre and the container will be uplifted free–of–charge and replaced with an empty one.
WEEE Products Direct Recycling Services
Newey & Eyre offer a competitively priced direct recycling service for all general WEEE products.
- Simply purchase or rent your WEEE containers from Newey & Eyre
- A complete range of WEEE containers is available including bins, boxes, battery bins, metal skips, data stores, etc.
- When they are 90% full, you contact Newey & Eyre and the container will be uplifted free–of–charge and replaced with an empty one.

Automatically replenished stock profiles held at your own premises. Stock is reviewed weekly by Newey & Eyre staff and replenished as per your requirements.

Bespoke arrangements can be put in place to ensure that products are sourced and supplied on time and inline with construction schedules allowing customers to concentrate on the other complex areas of major projects.

Test Instrument Repair and Calibration

We’ll test, collaborate and repair your equipment
Get Instruments calibrated to ensure compliance with 16th Edition Building Regs & Part P – 16th Edition testers must be calibrated every 12 months.
A certificate of calibration is required to be present for all instruments used in these tests.
Calibration ensures instruments are working within the manufactured tolerances – making them safer to use and more accurate.
We recommend calibration by a UKAS accredited Calibration house only.

A range of Newlec heaters
Installers can now turn to Newlec for a complete choice of heating options. With such a wide range of options, all designed to co–ordinate with one another, Newlec is able to meet most domestic or commercial applications, backed by the guarantee of quality and next day availability. To complete its heater offering Newlec has launched a dedicated heating technical helpline and scheme design service.
By telephoning 0845 123 6539 installers can talk to heating experts who will be able to advise them on the type and size of heaters for any type of installation. All that is required are a few basic details including:
- Is it a domestic or commercial installation?
- What are the dimensions of the room to be fitted?
- What are the lengths of any outside walls?
- What are the rooms to be used for and where are they located within the building?
- In what part of the country are the heaters to be installed?
Once all of the information has been compiled and processed, the design service will be able to tell you the type and size of the Newlec heaters you will need and where they should be located in the room, plus any other specific information that may be required.
