Newey & Eyre is gearing up for summer 2010 – whatever the weather – by highlighting the latest Newlec and GET ranges of weatherproof wiring accessories for outdoor use.
Products from Newlec include 10 AX switches and 13 amp socket outlets, with and without RCD protection, plus a wide range of GET accessories which enable contractors to create bespoke weatherproof solutions, including fused connection units, telephone modules and aerial sockets.
All have been designed specifically for customers requiring outdoor power supply and lighting for areas such as patios, garden sheds and garages.

Newlec’s weatherproof wiring accessories are manufactured from tough impact resistant thermoplastic, providing a strong and durable solution which can be securely shut tight for maximum protection against moisture. Enclosures are fitted with 20mm knockouts to accept all standard UK conduit fittings and all switches are rated at 10AX.
In addition, GET’s IP66 rated grid enclosure provides the perfect basis for a selection of modules including 13A fused connections, secondary telephone modules, 20A DP switches and coax modules. IP66 sockets provide full IP rating when inserted and in use.
