A new research project by leading electrical wholesaler, Newey & Eyre has revealed the Defiance Padsaw is the most popular tool from its own–brand range.
As part of its ongoing commitment to help customers to work well, the company recently conducted a survey across its customers, looking at the views on a number of flagship Defiance products.
While all products performed well, the Defiance padsaw, a compact 150mm blade saw designed for making holes in wood, MDF or plaster board for electrical cut–outs, was revealed as the definitive favourite. The product was commended for its high–level of comfort, effective grip and general effectiveness in getting the job done.
The survey also showed the Defiance hickory claw hammer is highly–popular, recognised as a quality, affordable tool. Other stand–out preferences included the four–way utilities key, used to open service cabinets for water, electric and gas and the lump hammer, which features genuine hickory handles and a steel head.

Although our Defiance brand has always been well-received, having recently expanded the range, we felt it was important to find our customers’ views and whether we can make any improvements. We have been delighted with the feedback that has been resoundingly positive, however we will, of course, take any tips into consideration as we continue to develop the range going forward.
