As part of its increased focus on the facilities management sector, Newey & Eyre Specialist Lamps have developed a specialist seminar on the latest energy saving lighting solutions for facilities managers, to ensure they have the knowledge to maximise lighting efficiencies and energy savings, and minimise carbon emissions associated with lighting.
The comprehensive session offers training on the company’s full product portfolio, covering the most innovative and cost-effective lighting technologies from a wide range of manufacturers, including global brands such as Osram and Phillips, along with selected niche suppliers. With the dual focus of cost and sustainability at the forefront for the sector, the prime focus is how switching to these more sustainable solutions cannot only reduce CO2 emissions but also provide an acceptable payback on investment.
This follows on from recent activity which saw the Specialist Lamps team complete a series of seminars throughout the UK, in conjunction with Phillips and Osram, continuing the company’s ongoing commitment to driving sustainability in the FM sector.

In the current economic climate energy savings are being ever more aligned to available budgets. However, as is often the case, you have to invest money in order to save money. It is increasingly important that facilities managers are fully aware as to how the initial extra purchase cost of more sustainable products such as LED lighting is becoming more than covered by the running cost energy savings achieved in the medium term.
When talking to our customers we discovered they sometimes found it difficult to find time to attend all the training currently offered by many manufacturers, so we decided to develop this comprehensive seminar to allow them to see all the solutions at one time.
