Leading electrical wholesaler, Newey & Eyre has launched a new guide for its Newlec Floor Boxes and Britmac PowerTrack, to provide contractors with a comprehensive solution for all their underfloor electrical needs.
The literature provides a detailed overview of the popular Newlec floor box range, which has been designed to withstand working loads of the PSA MOB PF2/SPU specification for raised floors and is capable of accepting a wide range of accessories fitted in any compartment. With flexibility in mind, the range includes standard switched 13A sockets, along with a wide range of data and communication components to suit virtually all systems. For added ease of use, units can be supplied fitted with accessories pre–wired to customers’ requirements and fully factory tested in the UK prior to delivery.
To ensure a comprehensive solution, there is an additional section on the new Britmac underfloor Powertrack system. Having undergone radical improvements to meet the ever–increasing power requirements of the workplace, this innovative system has been designed with a minimum number of parts, to assist the contractor fitting out on–site, where speed and ease of setup are paramount. The system consists of a series of fully enclosed single phase busbar module units and can be assembled directly onto the floor slab of a cavity floor installation using the integral floor fixing brackets.
Further features include a simple and quick push fit connection allowing for rapid on–site assembly and a non interchangeable pin configuration to ensure accidental mixing of services does not occur. Three specifications of the model are available, rated at 2P+E, Clean Earth 2P+E+CE and dual system 4P+E+CE. Featured accessories include cable supply feed, flexible corner units and 32A tap off unit.
